We decided to go to Lowe's for the wood flooring we went with a middle of the road bamboo.  I did not want to go with anything too cheap because I am learning that we get what we pay for now a days... Also the few sales person I spoke with said there was not much difference between the higher end flooring and the middle of the road flooring.

When we went to Lowe's we figured we needed 9 boxes of bamboo.  We were approached by a woman who worked there.  She was polite and when Greg was loading up the flat bed, he yelled at me to not help because I should try lifting that!  The woman inquired as to why and we shared we were expecting a baby...

That made her day!  She talked with us for a while and when we were all set she told us she would walk us up front because we needed to get 10% off our purchase.  I know that doesn't seem like much, but when you are spending the amount of money we did - any money savings is GREAT!

We got the wood home, and began working on the rest of the project.  Nolan and Jill loaned us ALL the tools we would need.  They got us started with the kitchen and showed Greg how to use all the tools.  It was amazing to see Jill and Nolan work together.  She could anticipate what tool he might need.  Nolan had so much patience with Greg.  It was awesome.

Once they were done with the kitchen, Greg and I agreed to finish off the dining room.  We will get to that in a few days!
