A little Churchill Hotel Maple brown for the dining room and kitchen... I went with this color because I wanted to keep the orange wall that we had.  I basically went to the paint swatches and found the browns that had yellows and oranges in them and chose this brown from that.

I am so pleased with the brown against the bamboo flooring and white trim.  I think it looks great!  I am so grateful for Erica and my sister Terri's help.  Erica really busted her but on the walls and Terri really helped with the doors and trim.  I helped too but would get tired easily.

I did the kitchen myself since the drywall needed to be sanded and mudded again before I could paint.

The next step is to actually buy the cabinets and bring them home!  That will be done on Friday!  I will be heading to IKEA AS SOON as they open and ordering the cabinets.  Our neighbor and Greg will meet me there later once IKEA has compiled the order.  I am so excited, anxious and nervous!
